I could not believe it when I received the email that I was a finalist for the 2023 Luso-American FLAD Fellowship with the Disquiet International Literary Program! This program has been a dream of mine for years and I am so thrilled to be a part of it this summer.
I have been learning a lot more about my Azorean ancestry and I know this workshop will be an amazing piece to the puzzle. Thank you to the judges and congratulations to the fellowship winners and finalists!
